The Beginning
From grandmother's kitchen to 359 Exhibition St
Our journey started in a small kitchen in Beirut, where our grandmother would spend hours preparing the most incredible dishes for her family. Her recipes, passed down through generations, carried the essence of Middle Eastern hospitality.
When our family moved to Melbourne in 1995, we brought those recipes with us — handwritten notes on yellowed paper, stained with olive oil and memories. We dreamed of sharing these flavours with our new home.
In 2018, that dream became reality. Tamam Cafe opened its doors on 359 Exhibition St, bringing authentic Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine to Melbourne's bustling CBD.
